Jillann Tarara

JILLANN TARARA is a Health Coach and Certified Nutritionist through the International Board of Fitness & Nutrition Coaches (IBNFC). She is also a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer through the National Education & Sport Trainer Association (NESTA) and a Certified Hypnotist through the Hypnosis Motivation Institute (HMI). Jillann is a Double Gold Medalist Figure Skater through United States Figure Skating (USFS) and a Master Sports Science and Medicine Coach through the Professional Skaters Association (PSA). She is First Aid, CPR and AED Certified through the American Red Cross (ARC). Having trained athletes for eighteen years, she has leveraged advanced sport training methods to help clients transform themselves from issues of chronic illness and pain, obesity and disordered eating, to reaching cherished health, fitness and athletic goals at any age. Her enduring interest in nutrition began twenty years ago when a loved one with third stage lymphoma transcended his illness with whole, natural, organic and primarily raw plant foods, distilled water and rigorous nutritional therapy. He healed from the trauma of conventional treatments and became cancer free by adapting this alternative regimen. In 2000, Jillann was diagnosed with mercury poisoning. Working with an MD specializing in heavy metal affliction, she underwent chelation therapy and meticulous nutritional therapy. Since then she has undergone a complete transformation in her health and is free of toxic burden. She worked with a naturopath for two years to further her studies of nutrition, phytotherapy and other alternative healing modalities. Additionally, she worked as a chiropractor’s assistant aiding patients in electro stimulation and massage therapies. Fortifying the body for cellular and energy systems efficiency is what drives her work in nutrition. She uses a comprehensive, systematic and personalized approach to ensure that each nutritional protocol is tailored to each client’s unique bio-individuality. Fitness regimens and lifestyle recommendations are subsequently uniquely designed for each client. As a athletic coach she used mental training tools such as visualization, relaxation and manifestation techniques for elite athletes, and she is now implementing these tools using hypnotherapy in her health coaching service to help clients achieve transformation at the subconscious level. Jillann has worked in athletic training facilities, large scale gyms, private studios, home gyms and physician clinics. Her exceptional success rate in helping clients achieve results is evident in client quantitative data tracking and unsolicited positive testimonials. As a coach, she is both compassionate and tough, and is able to assist those not only with health and fitness issues but decisions that can impact their lives at large. Personalized Nutrition Consultation
The personalized nutrition consultation is a comprehensive service tailored to address health concerns including chronic illness, overweight or obese state, recovery from disability or simply to improve the standard, less than optimal diet many of us inevitably consume, toward the goal of achieving optimal and sustained health. A two part assessment process is taken which includes family and ancestral information, physical statistics including measurements and body fat, current state of health or chronic disease, environment and lifestyle analysis, common stressors, current and previous eating habits or diets, current medications and supplement intake, and current and previous fitness activity. The consultation includes a detoxification plan, customized meal choices to properly fuel unique biochemical and metabolic needs, targeted supplement recommendations, free online journal tracking, and behavioral modification techniques for dealing with all food related and social environments. This service will get you on the path of reaching lifelong personal goals for optimized, sustainable health. The consultation is a 2-3 hour inclusive meeting plus 1.5 hour pre-consult questionnaire and phone interview.  Additionally you will receive 30 day unlimited email support for questions and  follow up. This is a thorough process granted with care and special consideration while providing you accountability so the changes made will set you up for success. J

Health Coach Package I 
In addition to a complete personalized nutrition consultation, a thorough analysis of all food items in the kitchen pantry and refrigerator clean will be provided. Items will be analyzed, cataloged for organization and access. Processed and refined foods will be eliminated and healthy choice recommendations provided. Review of potential toxic sources will be identified and removed and replacement suggestions made. Functional kitchen design recommendations for ease of meal preparation and healthy eating will be advised. At the outset of completing your nutritional consultation and health coaching services, you will receive a free fitness evaluation at AYS fitness gym.  This is an another level of care and service to help you make additional positive changes to reach your goal of optimal health. 

Health Coach Package II  
In addition to a complete personalized nutrition consultation and the kitchen and pantry clean and revision, a guided shopping trip is provided to assist in purchasing items to support the detoxification protocol and help make new choices to support your sustainable healthy diet. Learn shopping techniques to make better choices and even cut the grocery budget. While you are making lifestyle adjustments, you will also receive a hypnotherapy orientation and initial session. This process helps get to the root of poor behavior with food and will help you make changes at subconscious level. This is an invaluable tool for improvement in all areas of your life. At the outset of completing your nutritional consultation and level II health coaching services, you will receive a free fitness evaluation at AYS fitness gym. This is the most comprehensive service and support you will receive to enable you to get on the path of transformation to optimal health.

I’ve been Fitness Training under the guidance of Jillann Tarara since May, 4 2010.  I have two 60 minute sessions a week will Jillann.In addition, I’ve had a  Personalized Nutrition Consultation with her as well.
